Meets requirements as a Class A fire retardant for fibers, lumber and wood materials. pre-mixed, easy to apply, non-toxic, nonallergenic, colourless, odourless (when dried), durable and UV stable. U.L. Classified. Works by slowing horizontal and vertical flame spread. Does not prevent charring, but treated items will not support ignition. The general rule of thumb is that if the product to be treated can absorb water, Inspecta-Shield can be used. Apply a drop of water to the surface of the material to be treated.
